THE STREET LIFE

We are black naggers On the street full of beggars Life is hard, making most of us waggers Don’t forget most of us are twiggers So we hit the street, so our babies will feed A day sick, the household bleeds So we struggle with all kinds of breeds A few noble ones, the rest full of greed. At sunset, we rush home with our little vittle Though not enough, it's quite a mantle We would watch our babies guttle A sight that sometimes makes us tootle. We do this so our children won’t end up as street urchins Though sometimes we wished to be consumed in our sleep by griffins, Click here We will never give up, even in our pains For our children see us as paladins. PAIN

Pain sometimes come our way,
Due to our actions and interactions,
And treatments given to us
By people we seem to love and cherish

Pain has caused a lot to some,
And is still causing a lot to many.

Pain tries its best to make Precious life's miserable
Not considering who we are,
Our age, sex, or educational background
Not even where we hail from.

Sometimes, you get subdued by Pain
And silence becomes your loudest cry.
People won’t feel your pain
Since they haven't swum in the same waters that drowned you.

We go through this innermost pain
Till we leave the four corners of this earth
Making silence our confined friend
For the fear of being betrayed
By those we would have loved to share our experiences and cause of silence with.

Some take the bold step to share
The cause of their pain with others
And get restored;
Whiles some get betrayed
And evade from those trusted ones
Till death lays its icy hands on them.

Pain, Pain, Pain,
You're causing more harm than good.
